Privacy Policy

1. Files you process

SlimMyFile’s PDF and image tools run entirely in your web browser. The files you select are read and processed on your device using JavaScript and WebAssembly. They are not uploaded to our servers or sent to any third party.

Files are held temporarily in your browser’s memory only while you use the page. We do not save them to persistent browser storage. Reloading or closing the page discards them.

File names and file contents are never sent to us, to our hosting provider, or to advertising or analytics services.

2. Website hosting

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When you request a page, Netlify’s servers necessarily process technical data such as your IP address, browser user agent, requested URL and time of request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Please refer to Netlify’s privacy policy for details on how it processes this data.

3. Advertising

We may display advertising provided by Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads, measure their performance and, where permitted, personalise them based on your visits to this and other websites.

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), advertising cookies are used only with your consent, collected through a consent management platform. 4. Analytics

SlimMyFile does not currently use analytics services. If this changes, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

5. Cookies and local storage

SlimMyFile itself does not set cookies and does not save information in your browser’s local storage. Your language choice is part of the page address. Third-party advertising, if enabled, may set cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

6. Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, withdraw or change your consent through the consent banner (where shown), and opt out of personalised advertising. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to complain to a data protection authority.

7. Children

SlimMyFile is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
