Features

  • Resize by percentage (5–200%) or by exact pixel dimensions
  • Aspect-ratio lock that fits images inside your dimensions
  • High-quality resampling by your browser
  • Batch resizing with the same settings

Resize by percentage or exact size

Scale images to a percentage of their original size, or enter a width and/or height in pixels. With the aspect-ratio lock on, the image fits within the size you enter without being stretched.

High-quality resampling

Images are resampled with your browser’s high-quality smoothing, then saved with the same professional encoders used by our compressors. You can also change the output format and quality in the same step.

Common sizes

Popular targets include:

  • 1920 px wide for full-screen website images
  • 1200 px wide for blog posts and social sharing
  • 800 px wide for email attachments and online forms

Your privacy

Files are read and processed by your browser on this device. They are not uploaded, stored or shared, and closing the page discards them. Processing speed and the largest file you can handle depend on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make an image bigger?

Yes, up to 200% with the percentage slider, or by entering larger pixel dimensions (up to 16,384 pixels per side). Enlarging cannot add real detail, and larger dimensions usually mean larger files.

Will resizing change the format?

No, the original format is kept by default. You can choose JPEG, PNG or WebP output in the settings.
